Tape Baking and Restoration
Breathe new life into aging tapes. Our Fisher Scientific incubator ensures precise, safe baking that stabilizes sticky or degraded reels. Plus, our custom modified Grieve oven is programmable to within a tenth of a degree with controlled ramp up and ramp down duration.
Analog-to-Digital Transfers
We create mirror-image digital files at your chosen sample rate. And we handle virtually every format of open reel analog tape, from 1/4" full-track mono to time code synchronized 2" 24 track multitape session. We have locked up to 96 tracks but can go even higher if necessary!
Tape Rescue and Deep Cleaning
Address mold, flood damage, or severe reel contamination. Our specialized cleaning transports and deep-cleaning process can restore severely at-risk recordings to safe playable condition. We have rescued tapes that were thought beyond hope, and saved music that could have been lost forever.

ANALYSIS
We inventory your reels and examine them for the best path to safe playable condition.
RESTORATION
We restore your tapes to safe playable condition, applying necessary techniques ranging from incubation, to deep cleaning, to splice repair. But most importantly, the first time we unwind your decades stored tape we watch with undivided attention and go as slowly as your irreplaceable recording requires.
TRANSFER
A direct digital capture of Broadcast WAV files at your chosen sample rate.
DELIVERY
Files are delivered via secure download or external drive. Once you’ve had a chance to listen to and approve your transfers your tapes are returned library-wound and ready for storage.
